NewLife Internship Program

NewLife Project Inc. works with undergraduate and postgraduate student and researchers to offer a platform for experiential and entrepreneurial learning during their studies. We work with institutions such as Laurentian University, Adler University, Carleton University, Centennial College, École Alternative, Ecole Louis- Riel, etc. Through these partnerships, students and researchers gain valuable hands-on experience in their fields, blending academic learning with real-world application.

This experiential approach enables students to deepen their understanding of coursework, enhance their employability, and build networks that can lead to future employment opportunities. F

or the past two years, NewLife Project Inc. has served on the Governing Committee as a placement partner of the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship-Advanced Scholars West Africa program of the African Institute, Carleton University, Ottawa. This program offers students a unique opportunity to gain experience through travel, either to Carleton University or to research placement partners in Ottawa. Scholarship recipients receive research supervision, attend focused seminars, and participate in experiential learning that aligns their research proposals with practical placement opportunities. This experience strengthens leadership skills and fosters valuable network-building. Over the past two years, NewLife has hosted five female doctorate researchers as part of this program.

Additionally, NewLife Project Inc. provides volunteer opportunities for high school students, fulfilling community service hours that are required for graduation.
