Women’s Entrepreneurship & Sewing Program

The NewLife Women’s Entrepreneurship Program equips women with the skills, confidence, and support they need to transform their ideas and talents into thriving businesses. Designed for newcomers, single mothers, and women facing economic or social barriers, the program provides practical training, mentorship, and step-by-step guidance that makes entrepreneurship both accessible and achievable.

Through engaging workshops, participants learn the essentials of starting and managing a business, including business planning, branding, marketing, financial literacy, and legal requirements. Our one-on-one coaching helps women refine their ideas, set realistic goals, and overcome challenges along their entrepreneurial journey.

A cornerstone of the program is our Sewing and Fashion Training, where women gain hands-on skills in garment construction, alterations, pattern making, and creative product design. Beyond technical skills, NewLife provides full support to help women establish home-based sewing businesses—guiding them through pricing, sourcing materials, creating simple branding, setting up social media pages, and building a customer base from home. This approach allows women to earn income while balancing family and personal responsibilities.

Participants also benefit greatly from the expertise shared through the NewLife Women’s World Forum, where industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders offer inspiration, practical insight, and real-life strategies for success. These experts provide valuable knowledge on topics such as financial management, healthy living, leadership, networking, and personal growth—further strengthening the entrepreneurial mindset of program participants.

NewLife also assists women with the practical start-up process, including registering a business, setting up bookkeeping, preparing marketing materials, and accessing community markets and sales opportunities.
