Our multifaceted approach emphasizes both general and technical knowledge. We provide educational literacy training with special emphasis on French/English as well as vocation-specific training in African artifact arts and design (Batik/tie dye, tailoring, crafting) and home decor. NewLife sponsor students financially and materially through our Backpack and school supplies drive program. We organize Afro-Canadian craft classes which is geared toward developing skills, self-esteem and confidence in kids and teens. The goal is educating the young generation about the Black culture and its values through crafts. In collaboration with Youth Service Bureau and Causeway in Ottawa, providing training and employment for youth and adults through the Youth Job Connect program.  Participants have been easily able to acquire renown jobs in Ottawa at the end of their placement in Newlife Project Inc.With the help of generous donors of backpack and school supplies NewLife sponsors fifty-two orphans who are victims of the Ebola epidemic and students, promoting education in West Africa.The Project partners with Global Giving on a childhood education project in Grand Lahou, Cote d’Ivoire where over 200 kids are receiving assistance to further their education. NewLife has equally sponsored several student’s education in Sierra Leone.
