At NewLife Project Inc., our sewing classes are more than just a place to learn a skill — they are a pathway to empowerment for women and youth in our community.
Over the years, we have trained over 180 women and youth, equipping them with valuable sewing skills that open doors to both personal creativity and business opportunities. From creating their own clothing to launching small businesses, our participants are gaining confidence, independence, and income.
As Canada increases efforts to attract French-speaking newcomers and support Francophone minority communities (FMCs), the demand for bilingualism is growing. NewLife Project Inc. proudly introduces a dynamic, results-driven French as a Second Language (FSL) Training Program to help individuals thrive in French-speaking environments and seize new opportunities in their careers and communities.Â
But the demand is growing.
More women and youth are coming forward, eager to learn — and we need your help to keep up. We have launched an empowerment campaign which involves:
- Sponsorships
- Donations of sewing supplies and machines
- Financial support to help us expand our training sessions
By supporting our sewing program, you’re helping build a future where skills lead to sustainability, and creativity turns into opportunity.
Let’s continue to stitch lives back together — one thread at a time, one French word at a time.
