The African Day on the Hill

NewLife Project Inc. thank the African Canadian Association of Canada(ACAO) for the African Woman Award granted to our President & Founder, Ms. Brenda Williams for her remarkable contribution to the development of the African Canadian community in Ottawa, Canada.

The African Day on the Hill Planning Committee in coordination with the Black community leaders brought the larger black community together for 2019 Black History Month Celebration Gala.

This event celebrated African Heritage, Culture, Food, Music and Entertainment, African Fashion Show, Story Telling and Dancing.

This year event highlighted the UN International Decade for People of African Descent with focus on the past, present, and future. It was held at the Sir John A MacDonald Building, Directly facing the Parliament Hill.
