Black History Month Celebration: Taking steps forward

During Black History Month, we celebrate the many achievements and contributions of Black Canadians, Americans and their communities who, throughout history, have done so much to make both countries culturally diverse, compassionate, and prosperous. They paved the way for us and we are standing upon their shoulders to continue to move forward successfully. It is time to learn from their experiences, consider the strategies used and take progressive and successful steps. Together we will search their history, discuss their impact in present day society whilst enjoying a time of Black fashion and culture, delicious African cuisine, sale of products from NewLife Designs and more.

NewLife Project Inc, a Non-Profit Organization has a goal to inspire, educate and empower women and youth through forums, vocational training, etc. Our activities display the richness of the Black culture and educate the community on the importance of diversity. Our objective is for women and youth to be able to fulfil their purpose despite life’s challenges and still create opportunities for the future generation through determination, tenacity, and diligent work.
