Jacquie is a retired Federal govt of  33years of service in Canada Revenue, Information Technology Branch and 6 Years in the private sector Banking institution. Jacquie is a mentor and change maker on many different fronts.
Volunteer work

President of the Barbados Ottawa Association
VP of the Ottawa Jazz Festival
Director on the HEO Board- Hockey Eastern Ontario -working on inclusivity and diversity
Director on Black Caucus for the Human Rights and Diversity in the Professional Institute of the Public Service
Jacquie  managed and supervised for 16 years IT Developers and oversaw CRAs IT development, managed IT Resources, communication with IT stakeholders and Managed highlevel IT projects.  The most recent CERB and CEWS.  Jacquie was awarded the Barbados Unsung Hero Award in 2023 for the community work and representation of A Barbados National in Canada.  Presented by the Consulate  General of  Barbados to Toronto and the High Commissioner of Barbados to Canada.
Jacquie was involved in identifying Equity and Diversity in her department and leading change to Inspire getting a Black Employee Network and mentoring black and diverse employees.
Jacquie was a Union Rep for the Professional Employees in the PIPSC union and continues as a retired member to be part of the Human Rights and Diversity Black Caucus. 
Jacquie has raised 2 young men who have gone on to be successfull in there career.
Jacquie coached Hockey for special needs kids and young adults,  coached Soccer and played many sports.
